TOMORROW: Get ready for an experience that is wild, wonky and WAY beyond the ordinary!
Deep in the heart of the Children’s Museum, there is a world where nothing is quite as it seems. If you dare to grab a lantern and step through the threshold, you will find yourself in a realm full of curious creatures and unexpected environments…
You’ve entered Catawampus!
But what does that mean, exactly?
The word “catawampus” dates back to the 1830s. As an adjective, it means “askew” or “awry,” and as a noun, denotes wild, mythical creatures. This exhibit will bring both definitions to life, transporting visitors to a fantastical world that is home to a crew of loveable Catawampus Creatures.
Catawampus opens to the public tomorrow, May 13 and is included with Museum admission. Members are free!
